The central part of the municipal cemetery in Alzey holds the graves of several forced labourers who died between 1941 and1945.
The 22 stone slabs have the names of the victims inscribed upon them. Among those buried here are 13 Polish citizens that did forced labour in the town and its neighbourhood in the years 1941-1944.
