In the cemetery in Crostwitz, right next to the entrance and on the right side by the fence, there is a grave containing the last remains of 6 persons of Polish origin. These were Polish prisoners of war who died between 1939-1941. They are buried in a collective grave marked with a monument - a red granite slab that bears the inscription: ‘Polish soldiers who died in fighting against Fascism.’ Below this inscription, the slab has the first and last names, as well as the dates of the victims’ birth and death engraved upon it.
